Activating a license

Buy a license from Pricing — you'll get a license key.
In QForge, go to Help → License…
Paste the key and confirm. Activation is verified fully offline using a signature check — QForge doesn't need an internet connection to confirm a key is genuine.

Once activated, every Pro-only feature and limit is unlocked immediately — no restart required.

Device limits

Each license is scoped to a number of devices, chosen at purchase:

Single device — one active activation at a time.
Two devices — up to two active activations at once.

Activating on a new device once you're at the limit is rejected until you free up a seat — see below.

Managing or freeing up a device

Visit My devices and paste your license key. No account or email login is needed — the license key itself is the authentication. From there you can see every device currently activated and deactivate one to free up a seat for a new machine.

Troubleshooting

"License key wasn't recognized." Double check you copied the whole key with no extra whitespace. If it still fails, the key may have been revoked or suspended.

Reinstalling or replacing a device? Deactivate the old device from My devices first, then activate on the new one.
